Education Manager – The LookOut, Hyde Park
£30,000 - £35,000 (according to experience) per annum (full-time post)
The Royal Parks Foundation, the charity for London’s eight amazing Royal Parks, is looking for an inspirational leader to help shape the future of The LookOut, Hyde Park.
Working as part of a small, happy, energetic team in this beautiful, new eco-friendly building, due to be completed in July 2011, you will develop and implement a fun and compelling education strategy for Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens; teach at the LookOut and outside in the wider parkland; and establish strong and productive relationships with local schools, community groups, volunteers and other partners.
The successful candidate will be IT literate and a very confident, enthusiastic communicator, both verbally and in writing. You will have 3-5 years min. experience teaching young people, including outdoor activities, be a strategic thinker and a team player, and have a strong understanding of the education sector and the needs of teachers and students of all ages.
