The Environment Network was started off in North East England by GPM Network in September 2008, we're based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We've worked a lot in the sector and had a lot of contacts but wanted something to help link people together but we soon realised that the issues and interest in business networking stretched beyond the North East - in fact worldwide. So although there is a disproportionate number of people from the North East most recent members are from much further afield. The more members the greater the opportunities so we are looking to encourage those with common views or businesses interests throughout the UK and beyond to join.
