Hi Debbie welcome to the network. This is an independent, free and unfunded forum developed for the benefit of those who join. Feel free to promote your business or view point. Many do this through joining in discussions, promoting events or contacting members. You may know Ben Stone from Ray (or REY) who took a lead on glass recycling projects but there are a number of others who may be of interest.I've done a couple of market studies in recycled glass - licensed premises collections and decorative products - and it would have been useful to known your business then - so there may be opportunities to work collaboratively on some projects in the future. Good luck and of course feel free to invite other like-minded people onto the site. Graeme

Hi Debbie we are doing a project with paper and cardboard recycling at the moment then a mixture of other environmental services. We are on a WRAP Framework agreement to deliver research and evaluation and occasionally there is a glass project, which is generally out of our depth but if it come along I'll be in contact as I can write others into the framework. I know Chris pretty well - he's one of the good guys. People like Stu Smith from Wood Holmes are interesting as well - they are a strategic consultancy with a leaning to environmental projects - I rate their work highly. Joanne Bennison runs the North East Recycling Forum (you may know about this already) but that's a great forum for contacts. Our decorative products survey was doen a few years ago but is on the Ray site at the following unweildy address:
http://www.recyclingaction-yorkshire.org.uk/site/display.php?table=asset_documents&mimetype=application/pdf&field=Document&ID=148

Hopefully there will be opportunities to work together in the future. Graeme

Hi Debbie - just picking up on your previous comment. Glass filtration? Is that for waste water treatment? I knew a few people in the water sector (I used to be markeitng manager at Entec which was part of NWL). Victoria Browning who's on this network is from Probe industries who work a lot in that sector- they do odour control systems for STW but she may be a useful brain to pick as well. Let me know if you need any help. Graeme
