Interesting in finding out about your eventual presentation at Barcamp. I think thererae soem intereting technoligical/environmental/social debates going on. Such as the development of on-line communities - we had a century of being self-centred but the Intenet has re-awakened and redefined our need for community. Facebook, My Space,Linkedin and hey this one - all meeting people's need to connect to others.
The Mazzini project looks intereting too - must have a benefit for business looking to measure their environmental impact on an on-going basis - linking into their EMS and CSR objectives. There are at least half a dozen environmental consultants in the network that could possibly discuss this with you (Marek Bidwell, Anna-Lisa Kelso, Gareth Kane) - actually particularl Gareth who worked on an Industrial Symbiosis project.
Hope all goes well at Barcamp.
Graeme
