GROUNDWORK NORTH EAST Groundwork aims to be the UK’s leading
environmental regeneration charity, working through partnership to
create communities in which people are proud to live and work.
COMMUNITY RECYCLING NETWORK NORTH EAST CO-ORDINATOR £24,829 to
£28,521 p.a. Groundwork North East Environmental Business Services
(EBS) team provides environmental auditing, consultancy and
training services to private and community organisations. As the
Community Recycling Network North East Co-ordinator you will be
responsible for developing and delivering the Community Recycling
Network North East (CRNNE) in accordance with the CRNNE Business
Plan, to the necessary quality standard. You will develop an
effective regional network for the community waste sector and
deliver services and training programmes that will further develop
existing projects and stimulate the creation of new community waste
projects. You will work closely with Waste Aware North East and its
Steering Group to engage the community sector in waste awareness
messages. You will have experience of organising and running events
and extensive knowledge of current and impending waste management
legislation. You will be familiar with the North East Waste sector
and the Business Support Community and have experience of working
with the Community Sector. You will be educated to degree level in
an environmental subject and have experience of working within the
community sector. This post is for a fixed term of one year.
