Defra and the Environment Agency are currently assessing the impact of the SWMP Regulations

Defra and the Environment Agency are currently assessing the impact of the Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP) Regulations to identify the benefits and drawbacks and to look at ways in which the Regulations may be amended in the future.

This is your opportunity to provide input into this process.

WRAP have commissioned Jacobs to carry out a survey to assess how industry is implementing the SWMP Regulations. This survey is being circulated widely within the construction and waste sectors to all those involved in the preparation and implementation of SWMPs. The survey will provide invaluable information to WRAP, Defra and the Environment Agency to assist them in their decision making process.

Please get involved with this project by completing the online survey, which can be found at the link below. The survey should only take around 15 minutes to complete. Respondents can also receive a copy of the survey results.

If you have any colleagues or clients who would also be interested in completing the survey please forward this invite to them. The deadline for responses is 23rd March 2011.

Please contact me on the number below if you have any problems accessing the survey.

All information provided is confidential and will only be used for the purposes of this study. Data will be reported on the findings of the survey, but individual responses will not be identifiable.
