Low Carbon Network - Northumbria University

The event looks at collaboration opportunties between Northumbria University and providers of goods and services in the Low Carbon market.

Northumbria University has undertaken an extensive Low Carbon Mapping project, which has mapped out the University’s research expertise within the Low Carbon area, including recent research and development projects as well as commercial collaborations – key areas include, Green Buildings, Smart Meters, Renewables, Electric Vehicles and Climate Change.

The project uses an online platform for visualising information, which identifies connections that are not always apparent using traditional ways of searching information.

This can provide new areas of opportunity for collaboration between the University, businesses and intermediaries in the Low Carbon area.
