Please come along to this amazing climate documentary, directed by Franny Armstrong (McLibel). It aims to turn viewers into activists in the run-up to Copenhagen this December. I have already seen the film and it definitely puts An Inconvenient Truth in the shade!
The People's premiere is being shown simultaneously nationwide across 64 different cinemas on Sunday March 15th.
Please go to http://www.ageofstupid.net/premiere for a list of participating cinemas and to learn more about the film.
Also, the film is released nationally on Friday 20th March.
The weekend of the 20th, 21st and 22nd of March is monstrously important to the whole future of The Age of Stupid. The length and breadth of the UK theatrical run will literally be determined by the number of bums on seats in cinemas during this opening weekend. The box-office success of these three days is crucial to the overall success of everything that happens after this point; overseas cinema groups, TV deals and DVD distribution will all take their lead from what happens during this pivotal weekend.
Please please please come on at least one of these days - and bring ten friends along with you too!
