Event Description

This is a one day course that will equip business owners and managers with the communication skills that will help them embed good environmental practice within their business.

The training course will cover:

  • Understanding the communication obstacles to overcome
  • Avoiding that ‘greenwash’ feeling
  • The psychology of motivating and communicating to employees
  • Designing your environmental message so it has real impact
  • Choosing the right media to deliver your message
  • Using electronic media to communicate to employees effectively
  • Managing your environmental communication campaign
  • Good practice examples and practical tips

The course will draw upon examples ranging from Marks and Spencer to Sigmund Freud, to illustrate how communicating with staff on ethical issues needs to consider core emotional drivers to create compelling messages.
